PRE’s mission is to empower our clients to make informed decisions and drive meaningful change through high-quality research, program evaluation, and organizational consulting.
Challenge
Between 2020 and 2024, Pacific Research and Evaluation experienced significant staff growth, prompting an organizational restructure from a single research team to two teams and the addition of two new manager-level positions. This shift presented an opportunity to redistribute responsibilities for greater productivity and efficiency. During this period, PRE also transitioned to a hybrid workforce model, enabling them to recruit talented researchers nationwide. To support these changes, PRE sought assistance with improving staff communication, establishing new policies and procedures, developing managers and leaders, and streamlining processes, to support the goal of building a productive workforce while promoting work-life balance.
Solutions
- In September 2024, Kate Cockrill designed and delivered a 1- day retreat for the 13-person team focused on understanding DiSC styles, team collaboration and communication.
- In January 2024, Kate Cockrill conducted leadership development with PRE’s 5-person leadership team including: 1-day Leadership Training; Monthly team coaching for managers on topics like: delegation, feedback and managing team burnout; 1:1 Coaching for the President, Vice President and managers.
